Meet our beautiful new addition. This sweet senior gelding spent his life working for the Amish. Unfortunately his fate was slaughter, that is until we stepped in.

This boys journey has been anything but easy. He has serious dental issues (currently being seen by a vet and given the care he needs). The vet confirmed he needs to gain at least 200 pounds. Thanks to donations and the kindness of many - he is showing incredible improvement.

The photos on the left were taken the day he came home from the kill pen and the photo on the right is of just 1 month later. The biggest change though is actually NOT something you can see in these photos. The biggest change is his awareness of love and care. His interest in people. He has blossomed into a beautiful horse with the most amazing personality.

He is getting soaked feed several times a day and also pasture occasionally (which he absolutely loves). For now his diet is restricted because of his dental issues.

We so appreciate the love and support that we have received for this incredible boy. His journey is far from over but his progress has been remarkable.
