Tag #7430 — Rosie
Little Rosie girl worked for the Amish all of her life. She foundered on grass. Due to her previous owners’ kids growing up, little Rosie girl ended up at the lot. When we reached out for help, so many amazing people came together to help us bail her out!
When we got Rosie home, it was clear that eating was painful for her. Our vet came out right away and did a teeth float and overall check. To our surprise, underneath all of her “fluff”….. Rosie was skin and bones. Her teeth had several sharp points that were causing sores on the inside of her mouth. Rosie also had some serious issues with her hooves and our farrier is working to trim them back where they need to be.
After the vet visit, Rosie’s appetite tripled!! She has been gaining weight nicely and we are very impressed with her progress. We so greatly appreciate all of those who have stepped up for little Rosie girl. Her retirement is filled with love and care.
